After you leave the facility, the nightmare of dealing with their billing starts. Even if you set up a payment plan with them and are paying, they will still send you to collections anyway. You will fight with that for months. When you call them, expect at least 45 mins to not have anything resolved and no timely call back.

Business response:

Hi, Natasha. We're sorry to hear about your experience. It sounds like you've certainly been dealing with a number of people. But if you'd like to speak with a member of our patient relations team, you can contact them at 913-588-1290 or send an email to patientrelations@kumc.edu.

For their Behavioral Health Unit Strawberry Hill Campus they slap every Bipolar patient with Borderline Personality Disorder, give them the exact same medication (which typically shouldn’t be given to bipolar patients as they aren’t quality mood stabilizers,) and then pushes them out the door at the same time. Refuses to provide Bibles or other Holy Books but let’s you use your cellphone or tablet for 45mins a day, staff yells at you for not wearing mask while you’re clearly eating or drinking but refuse to wear theirs all t... read more

If it wasn't for Dr Trevina Moore, and the rest of her staff, at KU med, I wouldn't never received the final autism diagnosis for .y 4.5 year old son. They were very friendly, and knowledgeable.
