Im a 34 yr old cancer patient. The staff here is simply amazing! From the Doctors all the way down to the staff at the reception desks. They always have a smile and are friendly. I couldn't be happier with the care and compassion they've showed me. I would definitely recommend KU Cancer centers to anyone going through this life changing experience.
My medical team at The University of Kansas Cancer Center is incredible. The doctors (Yacoub, Al-Rajabi, and Al-Kasspooles) work as a team and keep me involved as a member of the team. The clinical nurse coordinators (Laressa Meadows, Melissa Whitener, and Doug Burnett) have communicated with me, on the same day I have called, whenever I have had a question. Went for cancer check up. Everyone was friendly and pleasant.
I am a 26 year old cancer patient. The staff is so friendly and compassionate with me and always seem to be in a good mood. They have a pager system now so you can shop in the boutique while you're waiting for your name to be called. They don't know much about my rare cancer but they try so hard to help me. Very well-run.
