my mother had several attempts made to withdraw funds from her account by an unknown company. The bank, without authorization from my mother, allowed the funds to go through. She called to stop it, and wss told it would cost her $30 to stop a transaction she never authorized. after this the same company tried again, and the representative on the phone said that it would be allowed to go through because "the company probably changed their information just enough to get around the stop and access the accounts funds, so theres ... read more
