It is very pricey. They serve mostly bar food and it cost my wife when I over $47 for dinner and that's with no drinks. Music was good and service was slow.

Every time we come to AMI we make sure to stop by The Ugly Grouper. The drinks are amazing, thank you Miranda for the suggestions. My favorite thing to eat is the fried grouper sandwich. We've been to several places and had grouper sandwiches and this one tops them all.
Street view looks like a great dive place. Creative menu and good service. The bad news is the food is far below average and staggeringly overpriced. $19 Grouper Taco that was supposed to be blackened but utterly tasteless. Same for Mahi and Grouper Sandwiches which were the blandest I've ever seen. Must give them credit because place was crowded and with no overhead at all (no HVAC, all outdoor) they must kill it.
My boyfriend and I came in, waited at the hostess stand, sat ourselves, grabbed our own menus, waited at a table, no one said anything to us, despite trying to make our presence known. Everyone seemed very busy but the restaurant wasn’t nearly full (maybe 50% capacity.) so we sat in the bar area thinking it would be better service and no one said a word.
