So... ugly looking place in what appears to be an old service station. But....its a cute place....all outdoor seating and very shabby a la AMI. I was expecting somewhat less than what I got. Much better than the other shabby bar and grills on the island. Service was good, food was very good. The staff fell over themselves helping my elderly mother to a seat. This is swell place to hang out and just goof off for a while. The people running it appear to have pride in their work and want to do right by their customers.

My husband and I love this place. Food is amazing, however, the service is something that desperately needs to be worked on. The vibe is awesome but unless you are sitting at the bar area, the attention to detail is small. When the server comes to the table to either take your order or ask if there is anything you need, they are in such a rush , you almost forget what you need.. The food really is amazing though so it makes up for it I guess..
We tried the Ugly Grouper tonight after driving by and were so pleasantly surprised! The food and service were amazing. Our waitresses Hailey and Casey and trainee Ian were so friendly and engaging it was the most kid friendly restaurant atmosphere I have ever experienced. There were so many fun outdoor games and friendly people (other diners and staff)my kids and family were in heaven. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in FL.
Great food , yummy drinks , great entertainment , awesome service , Fun place family and pet friendly place I brought a group of 30 people for a lunch event we felt right at home and had a great Time I will defiantly recommend this place to anyone !
Absolutely loved this place and our server Hailey was the BEST!!! Thanks for making us feel at home, we’ll absolutely be back and asking for Hailey again.
Grouper Tacos are absolutely delicious!!! Get there early (i.e. lunch), the wait time isn’t as long. Brian is a great server!!! Very friendly and personable!
