Food was OK. We had the Sunday brunch But there was no variety For the price and the service was awful. Won't be coming back.

Had a great first experience with the Toasted Barrel! Went in for Champaign Sunday Brunch, was not disappointed! Our waitress Daniela was on fleet!! Can't say enough about their service! The ambience was amazing relaxing..nice jazz playing..... friendly people! I read some reviews prior to going in, but they didn't detour.... Everyone needs to try it for themselves! Plan on returning to try one of their themed day's.
Went here about a month after it opened. I have to say it's very nice inside and looked very clean and welcoming. I can not comment on the food though because I stood waiting for someone to welcome me for about 10 minutes before just turning around and leaving. Just want to add that it was not like I was not noticed. I saw a person with a apron on look at me about 5 minutes after I come in... but still no one ever come up to me.

Sorry Doug. For some reason you were overlooked but why wouldn't you have grabbed someone and requested a manager, that's why we have them. Without knowing more particulars I have no clue why this happened? My apologies for it's apparent we both lost!
