The Timbers The Timbers has the best food around, their specials are always inventive and very well priced, their waitstaff are great and always on top of things. I have been going to the Timbers for years on dates, with friends, with family and have always had an excellent time. Despite other reviews the drink and dinner prices are very inexpensive and the waitstaff are always very responsive and beyond friendly. A must go!
The Timbers, Oakland, NJ I can't say enough about this restaurant. Their food is high quality and their service is the same. This was where our son and his, then, girlfriend went on special occasions. When they got married, we planned their rehearsal dinner here and the owners could not have been nicer or more helpful. They helped us plan the perfect event and we will never forget this party. Their Timber Burger is special and their Penna with Vodka Sauce is the way to go. The Timbers is decent I've been here twice, the service was slow, there weren't many waiters. The food was okay. They do have more inventive dishes than most. The atmosphere is nice and cozy. Parking is ample.
Timbers Great food, reasonably priced, very good service, and a nice bar. The environment is very friendly and relaxed. They have a nice party room upstairs. My husband and I love to go there for an inexpensive night out.

Timbers has a cozy and casual atmosphere with a wide ranging menu where one can get the best Reuben in town or a fantastic Filet Mignon. We love their daily lunch and dinner specials.
