Who doesn't know about Tavern Uptown? Seriously, this place is off the hook to hang out with your friends and family. Tavern is a great place to watch sports and they have loads of TV"s. This is a casual sports bar and it isn't unlikely for people to come either straight from work, or straight off the kickball field. I'm a fan of Tavern!
Extremely FUN – I heard about this place so many time from my friends. One night I decided to go out with my girls, maybe have a drink or two and if it wasn't all that great we could go someplace else. I didn't have to go any where because turns out the place was awesome. We all were having so much fun. I love their food and drinks they were good and not pricey.
I''m Hooked ! – They let me bring my dog on the patio, I'm a big fan of any place that will let you do that because my dogs go every where with me, they are so nice they even brought him a water bowl of his own, I'm hooked !!!
Fantastic ! – My friends and I had a fantastic time, great people, great fun, we will for sure go there again !!!
Nice Patio! – I really like this place! - - The back patio and grassy area outside remind me of bars back home. This is a great place to walk to and grab a drink. I haven't tried the food yet, but as a bar/drinking place...thumbs up!
Maybe the Worst bar in Denver! – Ok , so I tried the Tavern Uptown a couple of times before writing this review and it was two times too many. My wife and I paid more than $30 (plus tip!) for a burger, fries and chicken fingers that I could have had at Good Times for $10 bucks. And Good Times would have been just as good! On the plus side they do have a beautiful patio so I guess it could be worth paying $10 for the worlds skimpiest Nacho plate that charges $1.50 extra for Guac or Sour cream. A Slice of Highlands Ranch Downtown – If you like to spend money and not catch a buzz when drinking then this place is for you. If you stick to beer you can't go wrong but if you like a cocktail, it's hard to miss the measured pours (all the bartenders use jiggers) that don't quite add up to one ounce. The food is not bad for bar food but this is not a good place to drink.
Talk About A Turn Around – I was in the Tavern Uptown about a week ago with my girlfriend. We sat at a table on the "patio" and waited 5 minutes or so and never got any service. We were extremely disapointed. We then went to the bar and were immediatly approached by the manager. He explained that he saw us get up and move and continued to talk to us. Meet me on the patio!!! – -To me, summer means kicking back on a patio the second I get off work. i find myself making my way over to Tavern Uptown 2 or 3 out of 5 times. They've got a really great happy hour and it lasts till 7 which is longer than most places. And how cool is it that they have a big garden and a fish pond by the patio! Definitely not your typical gross bar feel.
