As always, The Tavern is the best place for anything from a regular dining experience or a special occasion. The lounge on the 1st floor is the absolute best!!! Small plates and cocktails...what more can you ask for??? The service is always exemplary and the food perfect!!! If you have a bigger party move upstairs and reserve the party room as we did for our Nonnie's 90th Birthday Party!!! No matter what this restaurant is just awesome!!!!
The best thing about the tavern is the lighting and the setting and all of the amazing appetizers and imported cocktail options!!

Tavern never fails to delight. We celebrated our anniversary here tonight - and they had the champagne chilled and waiting for us! Great service, great food, and the most amazingly beautiful decor in the area. Thanks, Tavern, for making the evening so special for us...once again!

This is our favorite place when we're in Libertyville! We have never had a bad meal or bad service. A light dinner tonight of the largest shrimp cocktail ever, the best house salad, and lemon sorbetto for desert. We can't wait to come back tomorrow for the steak!
