I love eating at The Tavern in Old Salem. It's like going back in time. The food is phenomenal. Try the mini muffins. We had pumpkin, blueberry, and corn muffins in our basket. For lunch, my husband ordered the pot roast. A+. Tender. .. and that gravy was delicious. I had a salad, Peach, Ginger, Candied Pecan Salad with Peach Vinaigrette and grilled chicken on it. I lived that peach vinaigrette!

The Tavern never disappoints. Tasty food that is fresh in a unique and intimate atmosphere. The service was excellent. The place was full for lunch.
Great food, service and shaded outdoor seating. Reuben sandwich was perfect.
Wonderful! Try the chicken pie with extra gravy!
