Had a wonderful birthday lunch get together with a few family members � nachos, fried pickles, Cali burger, one son had chicken fried steak, another son had a two foot long bacon chili monster dog, & drinks. Service was excellent, food very good, our drinks were kept up. Two thumbs up��

The absolute best 1/2 lb burger around! Cooked to perfection. The service was a bit slow but the chicken veggie soup I had made up for it. Delicious!
Consistently friendly service, great food, and a great time! Zach at the upstairs bar really went out of his way on New Year's Day to get us sound on the Winter Classic hockey game by seating us at the bar, while the rest of the place watched college football. Took great care of us the whole game, despite being really busy. And the Cheddar Blanket burger? Unbelievable! We'll definitely be back to the #1 sports watching bar in Austin!
I was at the Tavern on Saturday night during the Astros game, I was on A ATX haunted tour and tried to get a beer from the upstairs bar, the female bartender ignored me, stood there for 10 min & she served other folks, so I took my money elsewhere. Just because of that experience I will never go back, there job is customer service, with a smile.
