Wonderful tanning salon! I just switched here from another salon in Oakland and I love this one. Beds are super hot and I got a wonderful tan already. The staff is helpful and polite (which is difficult to find any more). The only negative would be how warm the rooms are, but you are tanning..so I guess if that's the worst thing, you can see how great this place is.
Good job new owner! The Tanning Pitt has resolved all its old problems! A new guy bought the place and has made awesome changes... Bought all new bulbs, new beds, new lotions... and best of all... he cleaned out all the equipment, painted, and the rooms & beds are spotless! The place looks sweet! Plus consistency of hours... open 7 days a week the same time everyday! Couldnt ask for a better place to tan. He honored my old package under the old guys which was very cool! Thanks :)
Beds are HOT I really like their beds because they work well but they are so hot. To make it worse, some of the fans are broken and tied together with a twisty tie. I would like this place better if they had air conditioning in the rooms, or fans that actually worked. Unfortunately, the fans that do work blow hot air because it is so hot in the rooms.
Nice....by college standards. Nice facilities, inconsistent hours. They seem to open when they please. Ipod docks and nicer beds than oakland oasis. Sometimes the phone never answers. The place appears to be clean.
Nice Salon... Very clean. Bulbs have been giving me a great tan. Very convenient for a quick after-class tan. Only bad things is they dont let you make tanning appointment... Had to wait 10 minutes for the bed i wanted but didnt mind too much.
Happy I made the switch! I just switched from my salon to tanning pitt and its much cleaner and much better. Im very happy with the switch. There is an ipod docking radio in all the rooms and the stereo is actually loud enough that you can hear it over the tanning bed. Makes the tan time go much faster. Very clean too. All well swept hardwood & ceramic tile floors... none of that musty smelly carpet like lots of other places. If you care about where you lay your naked body to tan I would recommend checking this place out... ... read more
