Best Mexican Food In L.A. – My family has been eating at this inexpensive family style restaurant since the 1960s. The same sweet waitresses have been there forever and make you feel at home. There is no better burrito in the city. They have several, but you want the mixed regular. From Tacquitos to Chille Relleno, everything is a winner. The prices are ridiculously low. Two people can eat till you bust for under $20. Casual attire. Great place to pop in and eat when you're hungry. Love it!!!!
Tomatillo! Pozole Rojo! – I have been eating here since 1981. Andy and his family are very nice and attentive. A few tips: (1) The hottest thing on the menu is the carne de puerco en salsa de tomatillo (typically known as chile verde). It is great if you like your Mexican (women and) food HAWT!
