They have the best onion soup I've ever eaten. Also their Granny Smith Apple Crisp is to die for.
I had the pecan chicken salad melt & it was delicious. Husband had the pulled pork with blackberry BBQ sauce & said it was very good too.
I've eaten here five or six times over the last two years. At both lunch and dinner I have found the service and the food to be outstanding. The specials are just that - special, never over the top and never to be underestimated. The meatloaf [and the special version buffalo meatloaf] are probably my favorite, but the steak, pork and catfish are all delicious as well. Very disappointed in service last night. Had planned birthday celebration for my husband and invited 3 couples. Food served and after about 5 minutes waitress comes out and says she messed up and it will be 5 more minutes before my food will be ready. By this time others were well into their meals so I canceled mine because everyone would have been finished by the time I got my food. Always the height of my Waynesville visit...the Creme Brulee is simply the best..order it naked, it doesn't need the beautiful caramel, chocolate or raspberry compote garnishes in my humble opinion, but you decide. Love this place!
Had an excellent lunch. The Sweet Onion blackberry BBQ sauce is to die for. One can get it on either chicken or ribs. My wife's salmon was exquisite. Our waitress, Ashley, was super be, and she actually went above and beyond telling us about the great entrées, and even a little about herself.
Stopped in for lunch during a motorcycle trip. Great find. Absolutely phenomenal food, atmosphere and service. Jess was great. Definitely make sure to stop again.
