The staff was very friendly and the food was great especially the crime brûlée. Great environment.

Exceptional! So many things on the menu that I wanted to try. I ended up having the Rainbow Trout. Nice environment, convenient parking, great customer service, and the food was delicious. Just wish they would have been open on Sunday so we could have went back again before we left. The Sweet Onion will always be a required stop for any future trips to Waynesville.
My husband and I had lunch there to celebrate my husband's birthday . I snuck away from out table and asked the young lady at the front desk if they could bring a small cake with one candle to our table as a surprise. She said she would tell our waitress, Krista, to do that. We finished our excellent lunch, and the next thing I knew, Krista asked if we wanted dessert.
