The menu had lots to choose from. I had the Blackberry Short Ribs, home made mac and cheese and broccoli. Every bite was sooo good. My husband had the salmon. He really enjoyed that. Desert and coffee was the perfect finish to a great experience. We will be back
Food was great! Great atmosphere . Little bit of a wait but worth it
There were 8 of us eating lunch, it's a great location, great service and most importantly, great food (I had shrimp and fried grits...yummy!). Only negative was finding parking in leaf peeping season!
The food is always wonderful here, but I have to talk about the service. I've been coming to Sweet Onion with my son since he was a very young fellow, and the servers are always extremely accommodating of us. Whether it's bringing me a little ramekin of sweet potato when they see I'm sharing my dinner with my son or just being very quick to clear dishes & bring the check, they are always making it so much easier to be a mom with a newborn or baby or toddler. And, of course, the food is wonderful.
Yesterday, 10/10/16 was our first visit to the Sweet Onion restaurant. We enjoyed it immensely! My husband had the Brunswick stew, which he said was tasty, but a little different. I had the Blackberry BBQ chicken, garlic mashed potatoes & okra. Oh my word! It was wonderful! We will definitely be back.
