Day 1: Was told they only accept Take-out orders if they are not busy. Called back later and no one answered the phone. Day 2: No one answered the phone Day 3: Someone picked up the phone and immediately hung up. I called back and no one answered the phone. Each time I started calling around 4-4:30 pm. I’m done. Clearly they don’t care about people trying to be safe and only do takeout for their families since no one will answer the phone.
My group and I ate at the Surf Hut for lunch. I had the shrimp and crab dip. It was sooo good. The portions were large and fresh and the wait staff was friendly and attentive. As a bonus, our view of the ocean was fantastic from our table. I would highly recommend if you want a rustic, surfer atmosphere along with good seafood.
My family and I are staying in Destin and decided to make the drive out to Miramar to eat at The Surf Hut we were not disappointed! The smoked tuna dip is some of the best we have had in this area and served uniquely stuffed in sweet peppers. The fish tacos were flavorful and generous, my son had the kids grilled fish and it was every bit as enjoyable as the grilled fish my husband ordered.

Dinner was amazing. Our server , Angel, was very attentive. Very friendly staff. Oysters were fresh. shrimp 'n' grits was delicious and a very large portion. Snow Crab legs weren't the best I've ever had, but were sweet and tender. the mashed potatoes were rich and creamy. definitely recommend this place.
My favorite restaurant in Deston. Great food awesome bar. The servers are top notch. Always there with enthusiasm and positive. Always busy and walks out to the beach.
