Better than Commander's! – I'm a New Orleans local and my mom was visiting last month. For her last night here, we had reservations at Commander's Palace, where we had dined earlier in the week. Well, the last night came and we cancelled at Commander's to come to Star! The food at Star is divine, the atmosphere is welcoming, much like eating at an old friend's house, and the service is impeccable. Star Joey, the host, always treats my guests and I like we're royalty. Star is New Orleans' best kept secret.
Best food and atmosphere in town! – Came down for a short vacation and after walking by we decided to turn around and give The Star Steak & Lobster House a try. After a few minutes we were welcomed in to a cozy place in the restaurant were we experienced one of the best times of the trip. The service was efficient with a personal touch.
