looking for a good steak and seafood restaurant? you wont find it here. – Although the environment was atmosphere was delightful, i dont see how any of these people have rated this below average establishment with 5 stars. in addition to it being extremely over priced (i.e. a 1 and a half pound lobster for $30) it doesnt even taste half as good as the other reviewers claim. Best Lobster dinner in town. – My friends and I go to New Orleans at least twice a year and never fail to have dinner there at least once. The lobster is oh so good, melts in your mouth. My friends enjoy the steaks which are excellently prepared. Joey is the Best, he goes the extra mile to please everyone. We love him! He always remembers us. The recently remodeled decor is beautiful. The service is excellent. The prices are reasonable too.

Best of the South – My husband, sister, and brother-in-law have been going to this restaurant at least once a year for the last five years. The atmosphere is great, the service impecable, the food is absolutely high quality, and the prices are quite reasonable. We will be going there again this year. I sometimes think we keep coming back to New Orleans just to eat at this restaurant.
Best in Trip – We came in off the street without a reservation. Luckily, we were early enough to be seated for dinner immediately. Our waitress was without a doubt, the best server either one of had ever run across. We started with stuffed mushrooms and oysters, then on to the stuffed filet mignon with potato and veggie. Eat here, best food...not a tourist trap – We asked our valet for a restaurant that locals would go to and he suggested Star... the BEST stuffed mushrooms I've ever had in my life. All the food was top of the line great. I visit New Orleans from Mobile for 25 years and this place beats all the other "popular" tourist restaurants, hands down. Do yourself a favor and go there. must dine here – the staff was incredible...we wanted for nothing. The food was a taste of heaven! I would recommend dinning here to anyone visiting New Orleans! Get there early..the place fills up fast (there was a 45 minute wait to get in the night before we dined there)
STAR joey's – A trip to New Orleans just isn;t complete without a dinning experience here. My wife and I have been coming for several years and each time is more delightful than the last. The food is simply THE BEST. No matter who you are, the staff makes you feel as if they have been waiting just for YOU to arrive, to make your meal specially for you. Absolute masterpeice of an establishment!
