RecommendedI have been going to The Spicery since Ms Martha owned it. I have such wonderful memories with friends. It is nice to see the quaint charm of "grandma's house" is still there. Some of my friends and I tried the cauliflower crust quiche and it was quite good. We will be continuing to frequent this place. I love their wild berry tea and homemade bread also.
They are very nice there. They also did a great job with all the guidelines that are in place right now.
The Chicken Marsala wasnt Chicken Marsala. Marsala is a pounded/tenderized chicken dish with mushrooms etc. I received a big chicken breast with some thin sauce over it. I'm guessing since this places typical patronage seems to be elderly, they dont try very hard on the food or assume the diners wont know the difference.
