I just hosted a retreat of six business owners at the lakehouse, We stayed in the cottages and had a great time Andrea and Chef Nate and Sam, were exceptional hosts, and accommodated all of our requests the rooms are modern and well appointed and since we had great weather we were able to meet in a number of indoor and outdoor spaces. Highly Recommend
This is a beautiful place, but the wine selling/restaurant business has replaced the warm and welcome atmosphere that used to be a big attraction at the Bed and Breakfast. Just not the same.. Too bad!!
Went there yesterday for lunch with 2 friends. Lunch was fabulous and the wine was great, but after we ate, we were rushed away saying there was a 2 hour limit on tables because there was a long list of people are waiting. It was 2:30 on a Thursday afternoon and there was one group waiting. We were very disappointed as we wanted to relax and enjoy more wine and conversation. We make memories everyday of our lives! Now this is coming from someone that has stayed at the lake house years ago and just returned from our stay for my husbands birthday! The staff at the B&B and the Crosswinds Restaurant go above and beyond making everyone's stay Amazing!!! There is by far no better location on the strip! Thank you for being who you are and what you stand for! The time, planning and expense you put into your grounds is top notch!!! And thank you for that " Little Slice of Heaven!"
I felt I had to at least give a 2-star because of the beautiful lake view from the hostess desk, that's as far as we made it. We would have loved to try the food but we were turned away because of our party size of 9. We then offered to split up our group into smaller parties and we're still told "no". We ended up finding a wonderful place on the lake in Fairport Harbor that was more than happy to accommodate us and will gladly spend our money there from now on.
