I have been coming to this resort since it was a Hilton ! I got hurt at the outdoor pool this week when I slipped on water that collects by the ladders . It seems they have replaced the decking with a floor that is not meant for swimming pools . They have had other slip and falls before my accident and have done nothing about it . The security man Bill was very kind . I refused to go to hospital cause I didn't want to ruin my friends stay . I would have given 5 stars if the AC worked properly. Setting all rooms at 73 degrees even though the thermostat goes down to 65 is wrong. It is unhealthy and uncomfortable and the ONLY reason I won't return. When spending this much money, I expect to have a decent night sleep. My entire family was miserable every night. We even bought our own fan to try to get through the nights.
I have been waiting for two weeks for a refund of 300.00 dollars and have left two messages for the manager no call back and there were terms in the pool when we were there
I used to love this place but this year it has really gone down starting with the bathrooms on the first floor...they smell like urine and tbe floors are greasy! The seaview is understaffed. We waited gorever for lunch amf then longer still for our check. But the most annoying thing. We were enjoying ourselves on the lounge chairs on tbe brach when the staff came amd took the chairs away from everyone at 4pm. Nice, very nice... Very upscale for Jersey but makes me feel at home in Miami.
We have been coming to Ocean Place for three years now, and my girlfriend and I love it here! This visit in particular, KATIE at the front desk really helped to start our vacation off right! She really is a rising star in this company! We love the staff here, everyone is professional and courteous! The beach amenities are awesome! We continue to come back multiple times each summer!! Always an A+!!!
