We were there before the dinner rush. We were offered a table outside and seated immediately. Because it was early there is a limited menu. My Husband had the My Way Pasta which he enjoyed. I had the Southern burger with fries which was also very fresh and juicy. We shared a half dozen oysters as an appetizer. I had the Blackberry Mountain Tea cocktail. THE SOUTHERN HAS THE BEST BRUNCH EVER. Biscuits and gravy. Shrimp and grits.....I could go on and on. I use to bring my friends here and introduced them to The Southern whenever we would be visiting. Now I live in Nashville. I may or may not have moved here for the biscuits & gravy. Seriously. They give me life. And I recommend the Southern to EVERYONE. I absolutely love it. (The bread pudding is probably made by Jesus himself. It's s'good)
Amazing pimento cheeseburger! I can't remember when I've had a better burger! Mac and cheese was also excellent! I'll be back!
The food was great. It was so loud my wife and I could not talk. We had to yell to hear each other. Not sure if we will go back.
Had a 2:15 reservation on a Saturday... was seated immediately...our wait staff was fun and helpful...food was really good. My only reason why I am not giving them 5 stars is that there are too many menus...they are strict about what you can order, when. The Brunch menu is until 3pm, then they have the Anytime menu, which you cannot order from that until 3pm and then their Dinner menu starts at 5pm. The Southern Burger is quite possibly the best burger I have ever eaten!
Great place all the way around! Ambiance, decor etc is awesome. Service very very good and the food was awesome. Most of all was the cocktails and friendly-fun staff that served them...Great! We will be back!
Perfect Service (Valerie), perfect Steak. Outstanding steak. Delicious steak. Haven't had a good steak since we left Chicago. Did I mention, perfect Steak!? Bravo.
Go now.....eat everything! The biscuits and ham gravy, the bacon, eggs, jams, chicken and waffles.... Seriously yummy!
