I visited this spot last year and was blown away by how juicy and tender the meat was. It was authentic Texas BBQ. Unfortunately, this recent visit was a massive disappointment. I bought 2 pounds of brisket for a sport game day. The meat was incredibly dry, tough, and lacked the quality I experienced before. It feels like the standards have seriously slipped. The food was surprisingly good, honestly one of the best pork sandwiches I’ve had in the city. I’ll definitely be returning to try more items.
Ate here for the first time and will 100% be back. We got their brisket sandwich, Mac &meat with pulled pork on top, beans, cornbread, and fried pickles. The owner told us he brought the recipe for the fried pickles here with him from Arkansas and they were hands down the best I’ve had- super light but extremely flavorful. And the in-house made BBQ sauce was incredible. Highly recommend!
Tim serves the best Southern BBQ in the Bay! You really don’t have to travel to the South because he brought the flavor here. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. Great food and great service!!! highly recommended!!! 💯👌🏻
