I've been living in Eastern North Carolina for the past nine years where BBQ is King and a never-ending battle ensues between Western and Eastern NC BBQ as well as between iconic BBQ shacks throughout the state. I've tried many. All have been fine. However, I have NEVER tasted Pulled Pork as outstanding as South Side BBQ. Gotta get you some! Oh and the owners are pretty special too! ;)
