I'm not sure what they are doing to the building other than trying to run it into the ground. In the almost 3 years I lived there, it went from a very attentive community manager with a great maintenance team (often responding in under 12 hours) to an always-empty office and days between responses to issues. - Elevators are always broken - Floors are disgusting (sticky, garbage) - Water leaks (in units, in the garage) - Hot water (better leave the sink on for five minutes while the water heats up!) The apartment itself is wonderful, but washing machines break all the time, there are annual plumbing issues, the elevator and front door buzzer often stop working suddenly, and maintainence is slow to address most issues. I would not recommend living here.
Called this place "the roach nest" with my friends. Roaches are everywhere. In your unit. In the common areas. They will jump onto you, wings flapping, while you're washing your face before you go to bed. The building manager at the time Lisa, tried to tell me they were "water bugs" but later when roaches appeared in her unit, she finally called the exterminator. I came with a friend to the pasta event and it was really nice. The building looks nice and my friend loves living here.
Great property and management. They host really nice resident events as well.
