A ritual for date nights. We love the pork and the sides - especially the baked mac and cheese, fried okra, and slaw. The banana pudding is amazing, too!
My wife and I went to The Smoke Pit in Monroe NC 12/2/17 around 4:30pm. The restaurant was just about full even at that early time. Our 1st visit. The restaurant is in what used to be a Bob Evans restaurant. Over all the place was refurbished fairly nice. The prices are reasonable, the service was good and the food was good along with the portions. My only objection was the food presentation. Great staff and my wife loves the pulled pork sandwich. And the sweet potato chips are off the chain!!!!
If you haven’t tried Smoke Pit... you need to! Not only is their food amazing, you can’t beat the service! I got smoked chicken today and it wasn’t what I expected and they happily traded for something else on the menu!
