*** update*** this has been resolved and the office manager Melissa was extremely helpful in aiding with getting my refund from them as soon as possible** Why do patients who have participating insurance plans with the Smilist have to pay for a full mouth series upfront, just in case the insurance doesn’t pay?!?! I’m charged by the receptionist Lisa (I believe that’s her name) and told that my insurance doesn’t cover it….when I absolutely know it does cover 100% for participating providers, which again they participate. All the staff go out of there way to help out. Dr. Katz was fabulous. He took his time to extract three teeth and explained what he was doing during the procedure.
