One of the best places in Dallas for BBQ; get there early or wait in the parking lot!
My brother and I wanted to try some TX BBQ and found The Slow Bone online. We both got ribs, brisket, okra and mac-n-cheese. The ribs and brisket were hands down the best I've ever had (and I used to live in Memphis and their BBQ is good too). The okra - well let's just say that was the best seasoned fried okra I've had. The batter for the okra had some kind of Cajun like seasoning which gave it more flavor. Service and hospitality was phenomenal as well! When I come back to Dallas, I will be back to the Slow Bone!
Excellent BBQ and fried chicken. Off the chart sides and the corn pudding is a must for dessert.
Best BBQ in town. I am spoiled and have a real problem eating BBQ anywhere else! Side dishes and service are great too! We love The Slow Bone at The Hästens Store Dallas!
Food was good but the service was excellent. These are real people with that real southern hospitality. Made me proud to be from Texas since my friends from China are the ones that introduced me to this restaurant. The top it off I locked my keys in the car and even though it's after 3 p.m. they allowed me to stay in the restaurant until help came. This is the best BBQ you will ever eat at. There is a lot of hype for larger chains but these guys really know their strengths. The horseradish cauliflower & Brussel sprout is LEGIT!!
These ribs are so thick, fall of the bone and just melt in your mouth. The smoked cilantro sausage is my weakness. Sooo good. Hands down my favorite BBQ in Dallas.
