We couldn't get a reservation but we're told we could walk in and wait for a seat at the bar for dinner. The host was really nice and we were seated within 20 min. The food was amazing. It was actually a better choice of seats for my daughter and I. Much more people watching and and the bar tenders were talkative and friendly.
I'm not one of the crazed enthusiasts. Spring rolls are good but overpriced. Pho for a small bowl was $12.00 and edible but not noteworthy. We asked to be seated at a booth (my arthritis) and the manager denied the request in spite of 3 booths being opened and unused for the length of our lunch. I've had their vermicelli bowls, priced at $17 and above. Ordinary. Slanted Door has outlived its hype, in my opinion.
Excellent Pha and libations. A great place to eat in the Ferry Building. Great staff, also.
Everything was fabulous from the service to the food. One of the best meals I've had in a very long time!
Loved Mai Thai, cellophane crab noodle and lime pork belly claim's. Waiter was great. I would definitely go back!
Great food. Vietnamese very authentic. Slow and awkward service
The food and the staff are amazing. I had the ahi tartar and it was delicious. I also liked the pina coladas. The bartenders and servers are so nice and offer great conversation. Highly recommended.
You can't go wrong - pick anything and it will be delicious. The wine list could use some help - how about some California wines, guys?
It was pouring outside and the place was packed including the bar. The bartender was very busy but made feel welcome. He provided a great wine pairing to go with the oysters and Arctic char. Good food and friendly service.
