An absolute gem. This was our first time at The Read House and this will now be our hotel of choice when visiting Chattanooga. Great location and walking distance to several eating establishments (when choosing not to eat at the hotel). Enjoy relaxing in the lobby, garden area, or library.
Very happy with my stay at the Read House. The ambiance was really unique. The room was incredibly spacious, and I wish my stay was longer to really get to enjoy it to its full extent! It is also very centrally located in Chattanooga, and is within walking distance of many restaurants!
We very much enjoyed our stay here. The hotel had a gatsby vibe to it, with a lot of the 1920’s touches. The rooms were updated, with fully updated bathrooms. The staff were very helpful, especially since we had an AC issue. They were quick to fix it and responded quickly through their texting service. The main downfall we would say would be, the hallways and elevator were a little warm with no ventilation, but may be expected in an older building. Read House is fantastic, one of the nicest hotels in the US!!! Food at the Bridgeman’s is outstanding? Lobby bar is really nice fir drinks and food. Highly recommend!!
