The Shady Lady Window Coverings began when Rae was selling plantation shutters for a local company and realized she had a knack for finding just the right treatment for her clients, and it was not always shutters. She began studying the industry, and learned everything she could about what is available. She still spends time every month keeping up with advancements to make sure that each home owner has access to the best and most suitable window coverings for their needs.

As the principal designer at Pamela Hope Designs, there are so many products I have to be knowledgeable about that I simply call Rae Day at The Shade Lady for my blind, shade and shutter needs. I help select the product, style, material and/or colors and she does the rest.
