We really enjoyed working with Natalie from the Portland Oregon Location. Natalie was very prompt in responding to us and helped us navigate through the many options that the store offers. We are delighted with our window coverings. The installer was on time and finished in under an hour. Their customer service is impressive.
Absolutely fabulous! I also got estimates from 3 day blinds and Portland Window coverings and the quality of fabrics was much better at The Shade Store for a similar price. The customer service was fantastic. I met and talked with Barbra several times about finishes (drapery, rods, remote control blinds and shades) for 6 different rooms. The install day went smoothly. The installers were kind, quick and cleaned up after. Thank you!
The Shade Store had done all the blinds in my home. They have a large selection of fabrics and styles. We are very happy with our window coverings. They are a quality product. I especially like the in-person measure before ordering to make sure they are exactly the right size and exactly what you are looking for. Highly recommend.
We've turned our third bedroom into a TV room and the old metal slatted blinds, which were there when we bought the place a year ago, were worn out and needed to be replaced. We went to The Shade Store in downtown Portland, OR and Barbra Medina was terrific, talking us through the choices, working with our window measurements, and our decor. Buyer beware – These Shade Store blackout blinds were purchased in the Portland, OR store in 2019 and are all failing - the main fabric is pulling away from the backing leaving numerous light gaps. This is clearly a product defect as it is affecting five out of the eight shades in the room. These are motorized and quite expensive! The Portland Shade Store will not repair nor replace! However, they did offer a “30% courtesy discount” explaining that their warranty only covers original purchaser. (We just purchased this home.)... read more
