Spent my 21st birthday there with my family. The food was delicious. (BBQ shrimp to die for) The service was outstanding. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and friendly. And the cocktails were great even to somebody who knows very little about cocktails. Thanks for a great birthday!
Was there at a dinner. Food was phenomenal, and so was the service. A great night.
My meal was not as the server described, but when I brought it to her attention, she changed her story. When I called her out on it, she tried to blame the kitchen. The bread pudding was dry, and needed the ice cream just to get it down. The bread pudding from 'Mardi Gras' is much better. In short, everything we had was just low quality bar food, certainly not what one should expect from a Kelly English operation! I WILL NOT RETURN!!
Frist time. About 30 minute wait. About 6 of us. Everything was great. Service food and atmosphere. Cheese grits great.
Every visit has been excellent, cuisine and service.
Food was good. But we went for a surprise dinner for a friend and the girls at the door were not happy with a party of 7. And told us we could not be seated till the entire party was there. We got there early to get a table (because they done take reservations) and we wanted to be seated as she walked in. They finally sat us and cramed a party of 5 (we had two that didn’t make it) on a table for 4 but it was super small. I love, love, love this place. It's great for lunch and dinner, and the drinks are just...wow. I crave that BBQ shrimp appetizer all the time, and the Verno is amazing too!
