We are currently waiting at the park for our tour guide who is TWENTY minutes late!!! We bought on group on and have gotten no responses in our calls tonight to find out what the problem is. Furious... Update* after calling numerous times we got an email from "Brad" saying that text he sent us earlier must not have gone through- which is B.S! He claims the tour was cancelled because of inclement weather??!! The weather is PERFECT and there have been numerous other walking tours passing us by. DO NOT USE THIS SHADY COMPANY
Business response:
We were required to postpone tours tonight due to the forecast of strong wind and rain due to Tropical Storm Julia.
Probably the worst haunted tour I've ever taken. Easily. We got a 4 ticket deal on groupon and met our tour guide at Johnson square. It was more of a history tour about murder and death and lots of yellow fever. Our guide wasn't prepared. We saw only 5 places. These weren't so much ghost stories as they were stories of death or murder or just the history of Savannah. I would not take this tour, with this tour company again.
My wife and I had a great tour with Brad. He went out of his way to make sure that we got our money's worth. We would definitely plan to go on another tour as long as he was our guide. Thanks Brad!
This was not a good experience! We went last night and clif was not prepared nor engaging! Such a waste of time and money!!!
Well there we were, a small group of us waiting excitedly at Johnson Square by the sundial at Bull and Congress 9:30 p.m., Sunday May 17, 2015, to go on the walking ghost tour with Savannah Walks. Let's just say that at 10:00 p.m., after having made numerous calls to the booking agents and to Savannah Walks office, we left the square very disappointed with Savannah Walks and Brad, as the Guide never showed up, the Tour was not canceled, the booking agents had no idea what was going on and of course they could not refund my t... read more
Standing at the Johnny Mercer statue waiting for our 8pm Haunted Pub and Tavern tour to begin. Alas there is no tour guide here. I really wanted to take this tour! Will be calling the bank to get our money back ASAP.
