I attended Moonyah a broken person in 1989. I was actively addicted to alcohol and drugs. I spent 6 1/2 months on program and then the half way house. I can honestly say that Moonyah and the 12 step program not only saved my life but introduced me to a new way of living that I never new existed. I remain eternally grateful to Major Todd and Major and Mrs Harmer who led by example. I am 36 years straight and sober and wouldn’t change it for the world. Thank you

I had tried other rehabs and detoxs before and failed....i did a 12 month program at moonyah for ice addiction and it totally changed my life...i am a lesbian and even though it is a christian based program, i was welcomed and treated with respect and the moonyah staff helped me to save my life...today i am clean and i couldnt have done it without these people...if you really want to get clean and sober this is the place to go...
They're supposed to be a rehab that judge people before they get to know them. You could be charged not convicted and yet they will treat you like you are guilty and a bad person, without giving you a go at changing your life
