My experience with the Salvation Army began as a Counselor-In-Training at Star Lake Camp back in 1968. I continued to work with The Salvation Army Greater New York Division until I left to join the United States Army in 1978. "Jesus built the church on the rock of salvation," My life and career as a Christian, soldier, and a teacher reflect the spiritual core I discovered in their service.
I'm from the Mass Division and seeing what other divisions offer and do just makes me happy and proud. The Salvation Army changed my life in many ways, and I love to see how it has changed other people's lives. God Bless the GNY Division!
