I recommend the Salvation Army but I will never forget when I had lost my job and it was Christmas time. Someone sent me to the building by the Civic Center. The lady there was so rude to everyone who came in. She was so nasty I just took this bag of oranges this man had brought me and left. I didn't wait for the other stuff. I just prayed about it and my son had a great Christmas.
The Salvation Army is the best charity organization to donate to.

Very caring organization that helps people in need every year with their many numerous programs. I am a member of the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary which raises money to support the many programs!
By far one of the nicest facilities I’ve visited. Everyone there were very nice also. I learned a lot at the disaster training for active shooters. Scary stuff!
