We had great service from Shane our waiter. We talked about our recent cruise and found out he’s from Jamaica. I had the fish and chips and my husband whose always skeptical-about crab cakes took the plunge because they are never big, ordered them and was impressed. He said they were delicious and well worth the wait. We return to the Salty Dog on our vacations. I’m sure we will return next year.....
Enjoyed eating outside. Very relaxing and the food was great. The she crab soup was awesome.
Shrimp salad wrap is always my go to. Used to come here all the time as a tourist and now all the time for the past year as a resident. Always great service, and if not busy, great conversation with the bar tenders.
$13.50 for 2 bud lites. Questioned waiter and he said it was Salty Dog Seasonal beer and walked away. Give me a break! Too many fun, reasonable places for dinner and a beer in Hilton Head. Waiter was the worst.

Had the Grooper sand. The fish was good but the bun was not the best
