I ate at the salt lick in the austin bergstrom airport and while the bbq was great, the staff was more worried about closing down than serving customers. They didn't even let us sit in the restaurant seating. they said they were only selling to go plates and we have to sit in airport seat area. I doubt customers that arrive just before closing would be treated that way at the original salt lick.

RecommendedIt is a huge place. Still, we felt extremely lucky that we were seated right away. My husband and I split an order of ribs and there was enough to take home for lunch the next day. Coleslaw and beans were good, but the potato salad was mediocre. Peach cobbler was also good.
