Went there Thursday July 5th and the place was very slow compared to other very busy times. I have never been disappointed till yesterday. Our brisket was not up to standard, no beef ribs or bison and we returned some of our pork ribs because they were tuff! They brought out new pork ribs and they were good! We took family over to enjoy for their first time and it was sadly disappointing and not up to standard. Everything else was great!

I had better bbq and service at Iron Works in Austin. Salt Lick is over rated. The only thing that was good was the free bread.

RecommendedW the exception of their “potato salad” the food was on point as was the portion size for seniors! The building, ambiance, staff were fabulous ! The Merchandise (extras) are very reasonable as I gathered several things to go! Highly recommended

Wow what an experience! Great BBQ and atmosphere. Loved it!
The food and service were absolutely fantastic! My waitress Sam was on her game that day! Maybe I’m not used to the Texas style hospitality cause I’m from Chicago but I was blown away. I haven’t even gotten to the food yet, the sausage was amazing along with the burnt ends. The brisket was bomb and the special kick they add to the potato salad was tasty to say the least.
Definitely worth the hype!
