I had an Irish Mule (a revelation) and the best lobster roll ever! This little pub is a hidden gem and I will make a point to visit whenever I am in Portsmouth.

Today we went there for a late lunch and it was a disaster...First the waitress told us after 45 minutes that the order never made it to the kitchen (? ) and did we still want it, yes, we were there and hungry...so got the food, the silverware was filthy, my chef salad had no boiled egg or carrots ( oh wait, there was two carrot curls) and I didn't eat the lettuce because it tasted like it was in the refrigerator too long...the potato skins were gross, greasy and tasted like they had sat under a heat lamp forever...never aga... read more
My wife and my self went there the other day for lunch. The food is not the same as it use to be. Inside was freezing cold. service was very slow and my food was very over cooked. I would not go back sorry
