RecommendedSuch a beautiful place with so much warmth and character. It was very cozy and comfortable. I also love that by staying here you get to help the homeless as they give back to the community through their Rooms for Rooms program that gives beds, showers, and meals to the homeless. Not sure how I found this place, but I am so glad I did.

Great atmosphere. The old church has been transformed into a very interesting hotel. Though we never came in contact with any staff (by design for COVID-19), we never felt neglected. There was a clear messaging process. A very relaxing and quiet stay!

The Russell is a treasure in East Nashville. I stay there every time I visit my daughter who lives nearby. I love the location, the ambiance, the privacy, and the thoughtful amenities. I always look forward to the locally made, unbelievably delicious snacks! And I truly appreciate the hearts of the owners, who give back to the community. I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in East Nashville!

Loved my experience at The Russell! For one it’s amazing how they give back to our local community, but I was thrilled with how clean, and beautiful the hotel was as well! The communication was unparalleled. I received updates via text and email making it super easy to check in and out !
What a gem! This is a beautiful facility in an awesome neighborhood. The rooms are furnished and decorated with high quality features that you don't expect from a hotel such as Dyson hair dryers, plush robes, smart TVs, high quality bedding, etc. I was nervous about the "staff-less" experience, but I actually loved it! Plus, they donate so much of their proceeds back to their community, which makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! I will be back!!!
A perfect place to stay in Nashville!! Quick access to all of the great areas around Nashville, and we love the ease and convenience of the self check in and out! The building is clean and beautiful! It’s our absolute favorite! ❤️
