My favorite place for outdoor eating !! Great food and great staff !! Always have the best time here
Yesterday was my first time at The Rudder. My wife and I were in from Ohio to visit with her sister and husband. The Rudder was a last minute decision for us for watching the eclipse, and were we ever pleased with our decision! The staff, food, and drinks were wonderful! The music from Davidson Horn and Curtis made the afternoon all the more enjoyable. I have another story about that with which I won't bore you. Anyway, I can't wait to head south again and will certainly head back to The Rudder! Well done, folks!
Great food, great drinks. Awesome shrimp cocktail and grouper sandwich is killer! They've always got great live music outside also. The GM, James is top notch. He's a service industry veteran and makes ya feel right at home! The Rudder @AHM is hands down best bar in Sumner Co!
My family came in from Memphis for the eclipse. Living in Franklin, I wasn't in the path for totality, so we decided to drive towards Gallatin. While driving in, I thought of the Rudder because it was in the area and on the lake and seemed like a great location to watch from. The Rudder has turned out to be on of the greatest places to see live music in the entire Nashville area. In addition to the great outdoor atmosphere, The servers, bartenders and management staff are second to none! I love the Wildkat stir fry .. my favorite!
It was great both good and service. Nice weather to eat outdoors on their deck.
