I fn loved it ... next year it's jet ski central I think it would take to long on the house boat
We had a Large Group for lunch and had a Rock Star server! He made sure we were all taken care of!!! The food came out in a timely manner & hot! The food was amazing!! I think most of the group Tried a lot of different items off the menu & we all were happy with our choices! I'm not from here but if I was I would keep coming back & telling everyone I know! Thanks for making part of our Family Reunion Weekend a Great Experience!
I've lived in Hendersonville 20+ years but was never a regular visitor to The Rudder. My husband, Mike Claiborne, even played there for a while and I didn't go but a few weeks ago on a whim my daughter and I visited and had the grilled fish tacos and sat in the back on the water and we fell in love! Service was great. Nice easy going relaxing time.
Had my Daughters 10th birthday dinner here in the side room of the Rudder and it was SO much fun!! We had about 30 people, the food was great, the whole staff was wonderful from booking through Cheri to Savannah waiting on us. The girls danced to the band and had a blast! All the girls said they couldn't wait to go back � Thank you so much!!
The food is getting better. But they took the Po Boys off the menu. I've been going here for 4 years and it started strong went way down and is back up. The owner (i've met him 2x maybe) seems like a great guy though. The fries are good, but they use to have the battered fries (I think that's what they're called) and those were amazing. Had to get up and leave today.. Server was -1 out of 10. When I walked up to him at the bar and asked if we were to sit ourselves, he told us we could sit where ever we wanted. We picked a table with umbrella shade. He came over and threw the menus on the table and asked us for our drink order. We asked him if he could clear and clean the table and his reply was "that’s what I was going to do before you set down" He then proceeded to clean the table in a way that resembled Stevie Wonder. Nice views!! Open area- lake views. Non busy (2ish) Shared a chicken strip basket(yummmm) - plenty fries - 4strips. Hush puppies are delish!! Atmosphere is great!
