This traditional, English-style pub offers excellent food and 32 beers on tap to a friendly, upwardly mobile crowd. It is a popular spot for the suited locals to unwind after work in a fun environment. Like the rest of this District however, the Royal Exchange is quite empty by 10 p.m. Until then, though, the mood is convivial and the drinks just keep on coming.

Nom-tacular bar food – I came here for a party to celebrate the awesome-ness that WAS the World Cup. Everyone was decked out in their favorite team colors and we all cheersed with our Bicardi drinks. Some nom-tacular munchies were laid out for us such as hot wings, sliders, and chicken skewers. The place is the perfect size....not too big, not too small. The service was great, even as the bar began to get more and more packed. I'm a happy camper with this spot, and since it is so close to my work I'm sure I will be back!
Great Beer and Food Selection – This was cool place to come and eat lunch though it would be great for dinner and of course sporting events I saw at least 15 TV's! They have super salads and my boyfriend really liked his burger. They have unique booths to dine in, and a lot of counters to sit at if you like to eat at the bar. You can see a TV from most of the tables. Overall was a great place for many different occasions and good food always makes you feel good.
Not enough swagger to my sway. – Great place!!
Good times! – A great bar in the financial district. I have a great time every time I am there... lots of bars nearby.
Remember ! ! ! Its ROYAL ..... – Royal Exchange is open Mon-Fri, and reserved for private parties on weekends and often closes early on slower nights. This place is great to stop in for a burger and a beer for lunch. if you are going after work for happy hour, prepare to stand or get their early to secure a table. Ladies, tis true...there are way more men in here than there are women. However, it is a fine place to have a burger at lunch during the week.
Fun place after long day at work – Now, I am a huge fan of pies and beer. A winning combination at any price range! They have a wide variety of beers. The pies are also spectacular... they really do it right. Mostly professionals after work come here, so they mostly interact amongst themselves, but you can built camraderie when good games are on TV.
Best Burger Around – This place is great to stop in for a burger and a beer for lunch! The meat was perfectly cooked, the bun was not your usual run-of-the-mill sesame, and the fries were perfectly done! I love the huge selection of beers, and the service was great. I'll have to check it out for the after-work crowd.
Sardine City – The last place I want to be Friday after work is a bar crammed with people, at least a 20 minute wait for a beer and hot, stale air. There is nothing calming and relaxing about this place. If you enjoy re-living frat parties from your college days then this is the place for you. For those of us who have grown-up since college there are plenty of other bars in the area. However, it is a fine place to have a burger at lunch during the week.
best pub experience – Welcoming feel, just like a true English pub. Beers of any kind you could want. Bartenders friendly and atmosphere warm.
