Fresh, delicious food and fabulous service! Not to mention the gorgeous view of the autumn leaves.
We are here at the Roundhouse for the weekend after attending a wedding Friday evening. A most beautiful venue for the wedding and our accommodations were perfect. Large room was impeccably comfortable and clean. Walked through town today which is very close to the hotel. Implementation breakfast is a nice touch too. I would highly recommend this hotel.
My husband and I had dinner with friends on Friday evening. The venue is welcoming and creates a positive ambience particularly the view of the waterfalls and the fireplace in the lounge. Unfortunately it is downhill from there. The menu, imaginative and nicely presented, is a true letdown. Although the food is delicious, the inordinate amount of time from kitchen to table, the dainty size of the portions and the tepid temperature of the entrees when delivered made fo a disappointing experience.

Sit outside for a great view of the falls, although the two inner rooms are not to shabby either. Good food selection, prices are fair for the quality, and staff is friendly. On the downside, service was a bit slow but not horribly so. Also, great selection of wines and cocktails.

I found this gem while traveling for business within the area. I was so disappointed with the hotels in the Newburgh area. For a few dollars more,I was able to stay in a place that has now become my home away from home. The view of the falls during dinner was lovely and the food was great. My only complaint would be the server neglected to let me know the leek/fennel soup was a cold soup. The hotel is so visually appealing and comfortable, I now look forward to my evenings after work.
