I have been there a few times..ordered a grey goose martini up..very dry...i realize ordering that that im going to pay..was 14.00 and glass was far from full..at least an inch from the top.. so I asked the waitress why the drink was not tipped off and she said management ordered new larger glasses so we don't fill them it's easier for the waitstaff to carry them so they don't spill.. again I have been there a few times over the years since it's opened and the glasses are the same.. so although I expect to pay top dollar for... read more
In 2004 I was in Beacon, NY for sculptural business and have never forgotten the impression of the building that stood so stoakley on the rivers edge cornered by a small bridge. To top it off, the location is in town? I was in Beacon again, the first week of 2017, and had the opportunity to stay in this old multi storied building that was saved and had been restored to what is now the main reception for The Roundhouse. Wow wow wow First wow is this place is beautiful Second wow as the food was delicious and very fresh Third wow was four the price
My latest dining experience was flawless. They have captured the true essence of utilizing the bounty of the Hudson Valley's farms. Staff was welcoming and professional. The view is so beautiful both during the day and at night. This was a dinner to remember, and I'm looking forward to returning very soon.
Love the true Farm-to-table delicious food by Chef Terrance Brennan. The rooms are cozy and chique and a beautiful place to stay!
Amazing destination ! A must for the Hudson Valley ! Terrific food and stay.
