Great for lunch – A friend took me here while I was visiting from Atlanta, and it was a wonderful little place to have lunch before heading to the beach for a nice walk. Eat ouside on their patio if at all possible.
Venice staple – Located on the south end of Santa Monica's Main Street on the border of Venice is an old favorite, Rose Cafe. Plenty to chose from and a lovely enclosed patio that gets a little busy on the weekends but is perfect for anything from bridal showers to plain ole breakfast. Chose from deli salads, (skip) fritatas with enforced restrictions ("no subsititutions!!), and a variety of benedicts. My favorite with a special Bernaise sauce: Eggs San Pietro.
