Chef James is a rockstar chef! Our absolute favorite place to have a night out (or lunch date).
The pork belly with kimchi and sweet corn is an absolute must. The Lizzy Lake as well. A thousand thumbs up.

Love The Root! The menu changes with the seasonal local food available. Drinks are divine. And the waitstaff is friendly and professional.

I recommend this place to everyone. You can get great food using local ingredients and have Michigan wine by the glass. A foodie heaven
